Aoibheann's Pink Tie thanks all for donations of Masks and Sanitisers - and good news also for Aoibheann's Lighthouse expected March 30th

In the last week, over 500 Masks and 200 units of Sanitiser were donated to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. These supplies are critical to families dealing with the overall treatments related to childhood cancer. Already supplies have been dispatched to families all around Ireland, whose children are in current treatment. Supplies were also dispatched to children just out of treatment.

Launch of New Exhibition at Hunt Museum Limerick – Best Costume goes to!

On Friday 7th February 2020, The Hunt Museum is launching an exciting new exhibition showcasing costumes from Irish films and major television productions filmed in Ireland or abroad but with Irish talent involved. Neil Jordan will be the guest speaker at the launch of ‘Best Costume Goes To…’ at The Hunt Museum, Limerick on Friday 7 February at 6pm.

Approx 2.15pm today 4th February 2020: 700 attendees at World Cancer Day Conference European Parliament to experience Sea of Change Choir “ Flashmob” in Brussels!

Irish choir, Sea of Change, have been invited to Brussels for World Cancer Day’s 20th anniversary in the European Parliament. The Choir, who were finalists in Ireland’s Got Talent 2019, is made up of cancer survivors and their supporters. They are also the organisers of the extremely successful Strip and Dip charity event which saw them break the Guinness World Record for Largest Skinny Dip in 2018 in aid of their charity partner, Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, spearheaded by Dee Featherstone.
