We’re back, and yes, it’s time to get your ski legs back! After a challenging time here in the Club, and a winter bereft of our beloved ski trips, we think it is time to prepare for a new season as we cannot wait to get back to skiing. Next season will see The Ski Club open fully in September, with lots of new courses and exciting events planned , and a season that will see glacier events open early all around Europe, as ski conditions allow. So our advice is start early!
Already the Ski Club has booked their own Ski Trips for Winter 21/22, with fantastic trips to Courchevel France and Zell-am-See Austria scheduled.
So in preparation for this, and due to popular demand, The Ski Club of Ireland has announced Summer Kids Camps for July as follows:
SKI CLUB OF IRELAND
SUMMER KIDS CAMPS
Camp 1: Monday to Thursday July 5th- 9th
Camp 2: Monday to Thursday July 19th - 22nd.
Both camps will run from 09.30 - 12.30 Mon-Thurs
40 places available on each camp
Age: 8+ to teens
Price: €175 to include tuition, skis/sticks/boot hire and use of the lifts
These camps are geared towards children aged 8+ to teens and open to members and non-members alike. We cater for all levels from beginners up to mini racers and your kids will be guaranteed to have the best fun in a safe, outdoor environment - learning or improving through skill-based games and fun activities. In addition to our unbeatable ski lessons, kids (depending on ability) can also try out slalom racing, on-slope obstacle courses, freestyle jumps & tricks, plus tubing - all under the watchful eyes of our highly-trained and fully-vetted team of instructors.
Note – wear warm clothes, and bring long socks, and gloves. NO jeans!

Thanks to our incredibly dedicated voluntary instructors, who give their time so freely, we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting July training weeks for the Irish Special Olympics Ski Team who are gearing up for the 2022 World Winter Games in Kazan Russia in January 2022. More about this later.....we will keep you updated.
July/August Members Practise – before Full Season Opening in September

The Ski Club of Ireland Kilternan is the National Snowsports Centre for Ireland, and the Ski Club of Ireland Ski and Snowboarding Instructors are all voluntary.
