PURE Pharmacy opens new store in Bray, Co.Wicklow  –Unit 3, Southpoint, Main St. Bray

PURE Pharmacy, the 100% Irish pharmacy group, with pharmacies in Dublin, Drogheda, Tipperary and Galway, has announced the opening of a new store in Bray, Co.Wicklow, following new store openings recently  in Dublin - Foxrock Village, and Stillorgan, and also Dundalk, Co.Louth.

Pure Pharmacy has thrown the gauntlet down to pharmacy businesses in Ireland to reduce their margins and give real savings to their customers. By simply switching pharmacy you can achieve big savings, up to 60%, on your prescription costs.

In business since 2011, PURE Pharmacy dispenses all forms of prescriptions: private prescriptions, medical card prescriptions, long-term illness books, high-tech prescriptions, hospital emergencies. They cover all schemes available in other pharmacies - the only difference is the price.

Pure Pharmacy offers all Statins for €4 for 1 month’s supply, Ventolin for €3.50 for 1 inhaler and Aspirin at €3.50 for 1 month’s supply.

Said David Beggs, owner and MD of PURE Pharmacy, himself a pharmacist by profession “We set up Pure Pharmacy with a vision of delivering a first class service in the communities in which we serve, with top level pharmacy professionals – but part of that service and our concept is lower prices. We buy competitively and we pass that value on to our customers.   We are delighted therefore to continue to grow our company, with our latest new store now opened in Bray, Co.Wicklow”.

He continued “ our new Pure Pharmacy in Bray is located in Unit 3, Southpoint, Main Street, Bray – headed up by pharmacist Lisa Doran MPSI.     Our telephone number is 01 2116795 and Opening Hours will be Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm”.

David further commented “our business slogan is that old adage ‘Come for the Value and Stay for the Service’ and our customers – in our growing business – now know this to be true. We have thrown down the gauntlet to the pharmacy business in Ireland – to give better value and better prices to their customers. And we welcome everyone to come to us. We provide a Free Quotations Service on our Website.   We encourage people to avail of this, and start to shop around. Switching your pharmacy WILL save you money in 2020. We are changing the face of pharmacy in Ireland – for the better”.

About switching to PURE Pharmacy:

If you, or someone in your family has an ongoing medical condition, but do not qualify for a medical card, you can make real savings by switching to PURE Pharmacy for the fulfilment of your monthly prescription bills for your household.

Furthermore, in the wake of reports that some pharmacies have started charging up to €10 a month for weekly blister packs, PURE Pharmacy has made a commitment not to charge for this service which is vital for the elderly and more vulnerable.

Another issue in recent years has been that people have been ordering their prescription medicines online or getting their prescriptions filled in Northern Ireland, The UK, and Spain.  PURE believe that they can deliver real value with none of the risks associated with online purchase or purchase abroad.
