This is more than just a race – it’s a spectacle! Journalists and photographers are invited to capture the adrenaline-fueled action. Expect stunning photo opportunities of participants battling through Splashzone, Heartbreak Ridge, Satan’s Pit, and many more of HELL & BACK’s notorious obstacles!

HELL & BACK, hosted by outdoor adventure experts, Alive Outside, has earned a reputation as Ireland’s largest and most popular obstacle course event. As seen on RTE’s ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family,’ it promises unforgettable thrills and challenges for all involved.
On the day, the scenic grounds of Killruddery Estate will be transformed into a gruelling adventure playground designed by award-winning outdoor specialists. Competitors will face a physically demanding 8-13KM trail, trekking across rivers, lakes, and even climbing the Little Sugar Loaf for breathtaking views of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains before tackling the next challenges. Each turn promises new surprises that will test their endurance, grit, and determination.
