The Background:

Jimmy Norman, father of Aoibheann, and the co-founder of charity Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, tirelessly continues to fund-raise for the children of St.John’s Ward in Crumlin Hospital.

As an Engineer in Dublin Airport, working in Dublin Aerospace, Jimmy came up with the idea of a Plane Pull. This year, the 4th year of the event, is the biggest ever with 8 teams competing, to pull this Monster, the DHL A300 Aircraft, for a 10 metre stretch.

Dublin Aerospace will cease operations for 4 hours – will encourage 300 staff across all Airport operations to compete – and will supply Pizza to everyone!

A huge team-building exercise, and a massive opportunity to talk about the continued achievements of the voluntary team at www.aoibheannspinktie.ie
