‘An Entrepreneur Like You’ joins Dublin South FM 93.9FM radio family
Launching on Wednesday 7th July 2021 , at 3pm, serial entrepreneur, Dr Lollie Mancey, is taking her radio show live on air with Dublin South FM 93.9FM Community Radio, based in Dundrum Town Centre. 'An Entrepreneur Like You' will feature the voices of predominantly female Irish entrepreneurs as they share the stories of how they got started, what keeps them going, betrayals, intrigue, surprises and setbacks.
Show Concept
The entrepreneurial mindset is one that can be taught. It is a way of seeing the world, with curious eyes and a playful heart. It is about ‘doing things differently.’ It is about seeing opportunity and being able to think innovatively. The journey of the entrepreneur, often untold, is one of peaks and troughs, a world where failures are just opportunities to start again and become new learning experiences. This new radio show will explore the world of the Irish entrepreneur, and engage with people making a difference. Dr Lollie will chat to people just like you, who found their passion and made it their business.
About Dr. Lollie
Dr Lorraine “Lollie” Mancey is an entrepreneurial specialist and lecturer in UCD's Innovation Academy. She also lectures in gender and development and equality studies in UCD's Department of Social Justice. She is Director of three businesses (…and growing) making her a serial entrepreneur. With a PhD in Organisational Learning and an academic background in Anthropology she brings a unique perspective to innovation and entrepreneurship. She is the winner of the inaugural Trinity University Dermot McAleese Teaching Award and was also Dublin Story slam champion in competitive storytelling. She is a vibrant keynote speaker who advocates for progressive education, equality and diversity in business, and has a wealth of experience in the entrepreneurial sector.
