One of Ireland’s most exciting indie rock bands, The Academic have been gaining massive popularity both at home and abroad, recently supporting The Rolling Stones in Dublin’s Croke Park. The Academic play on Thursday 16th January.
Playing on Friday 17th January will be the award- winning band, The Blizzards, who, with lead singer Niall Breslin (Bressie), have achieved multiple platinum record sales, are always a crowd puller. Trust us!
Of course local bands, which perform in Soll all season long, will play a huge part in the festival making it an event not to be missed for fans of culture, music and skiing alike.
The Line-up will include Gordon and the Bravehearts, who play on Wednesday 15th January.
Other gigs will take place on the mountain at 3pm , reflecting Soll’s famous après-ski.
We will also be welcoming 2FM – Ireland’s leading music radio station to the event as partners, with special DJ sets by JJ Hartigan who is a regular at some of Ireland’s biggest music festivals www.rte.2fm.ie
But don’t forget the skiing! That’s what it’s all about. Soll will have a Ski Safari on 15th January, Back to Ski Classes on the 16th January for those who need to find their ski legs again, and an intriguing Hexen Challenge on the 17th January – on the slopes. Get ready!
