September 30th 2020: It’s time to take up a new sport this winter! The Ski Club of Ireland, Kilternan kicks off the Ski Season on October 5th next!  The Ski instructor team have just completed all of their refresher training, and they are now ready to welcome skiers and snowboarders for the season, which will run until Easter 2021.  www.skiclub.ie

As ski resorts all around the world get ready to prepare for a season like no other, the Ski Club of Ireland  believe that we can go ahead to kick off the ski season, and really begin to appreciate skiing and snowboarding as a superb sport.

The Ski Club of Ireland is the country's largest outdoor Snowsports complex with three artificial slopes and ski-lifts located in Kilternan in the heart of the Dublin Mountains, with stunning views across the city and bay.    Kilternan is recognised as the National Snowsports Centre for Ireland, and is easily accessible off Junction 15, M50.

The Ski Club’s  instructors and trainers all hold IASI qualifications and their world-class ski school caters for complete beginners, improvers and intermediate skiers & snowboarders. All of the Instructors, trainers, and staff, are voluntary.

New at the Club this season is The Ski Academy which will offer slalom & GS race training, carving clinics, plus off-piste/touring/skinning and 'steeps' courses for expert skiers who want to improve or expand their skills. Or why not learn to show off  tricks on the wavs, boxes and jumps at our weekly Freestyle Friday nights?

The Ski Club of Ireland also runs school & university classes, children's race training camps, club ski trips and is immensely proud to train some of Ireland's phenomenal Special Olympics athletes, as part of Kilternan Karvers Club.

If lessons are not for you, the slope is open weekday nights and weekends for free-skiing & boarding practice sessions. We are always looking for new members to join our vibrant club and instructor panel. Members & season ticket holders ski or board for free throughout the season and can avail of cheaper lessons and discounts with many Irish travel operators, Snowsports stores and brands.
