Dreamy Curves wins overall Bridal Boutique of Year at 4th Irish Wedding Awards 2020

Bray Bridal Boutique, Dreamy Curves, came out on top at this year’s Irish Wedding Awards last night winning both ‘Best Leinster Boutique’ and overall ‘Best Boutique of the Year’. The glittering black tie event took place on Monday, January 20th, at The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport Hotel and was attended by the leading businesses and professionals who represent the best the Irish wedding industry has to offer. Dreamy Curves was opened in 2018 by Niki Donohoe, who identified a gap in the market for curvier people, within the bridal market in Ireland.
Of her double win Niki commented “We are over the moon to be recognised by our peers as Leinster and Ireland’s best boutique, especially as we are relatively new to the industry. I would like to thank my team who have worked tirelessly to make the business such a success as well as our amazing customers who voted for us.”
Of her business model Niki says “there is limited choice and availability for curvy girls in bridal and occasion wear across Ireland and it is important when you are looking for that special dress, that you can try on a variety of styles and feel beautiful and special. I believe that I have sourced ranges in the Bridal, Bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride and Evening gowns/Debs sector which fit this brief and by coupling it with excellent customer service, and a beautiful boutique environment we are growing in popularity. We have customers travelling from all over the Island to come to us and we get so many personal recommendations from past customers. We are so thrilled to receive this award, and even more so as it was voted for by our customers who have availed of our service and product range.”
On an appointment only basis for bridal, you will be greeted with a glass of prosecco, or tea/coffee if you prefer. Each appointment at Dreamy Curves lasts approximately 90 minutes long with the undivided attention of the staff, giving you plenty of time and space to find that special dress. Dreamy Curves stock around 85 unique bridal designs from world class designers such as Randy Fenoli, White One, Watters Wtoo, Romantica, Michelle Bridal, Lou Lou, Modeca and Maggie Sottero from sizes 16 - 34.
They also offer alternative bridesmaid dresses starting at size 8 up to size 32 from world known brands such as Watters, Jenny Packham, Dessy, Romantica and Lou Lou.
A fabulous range of Mother of the Bride/Groom is also available to Dreamy Curves from designers such Personal choice, Veromia Dressed Up, Gina Bacconi, Kirsten Krog, Tia, Ann Balon, Personal Choice and Lewis Henry. Not only are these dresses available to bridesmaids and mothers of the bride/groom, wedding guests can drop in and see the fabulous occasion wear that Dreamy Curves have to offer.
The Dreamy Curves Boutique is by appointment only 7 days a week, and the shop is open for Occasion wear walk in from Tuesday to Saturday 10-5.
