Do dogs like carrots? Carrots are a healthy and crunchy snack that most dogs seem to enjoy. Carrots contain plenty of Vitamin A, Biotin and Vitamin K, all needed to help keep your puppy healthy. They also have lots of other vitamins in smaller amounts, plus fibre.
How do horses sleep standing up? When standing, horses and other large mammals, such as cows and elephants, have the unique ability to rest their legs by locking up the large joints in their limbs. This is known as their ‘stay apparatus.’ It allows them to rest a leg, one at a time, and doze without the danger of falling over.
Does purring mean my cat is happy? We assume purring is the noise cats make when they are happy and calm. If their eyes are soft and their tail is relaxed while enjoying a stroke or a cuddle, this is probably the case. However, studies show that cats also purr when hungry, in pain or recovering from an injury.
Should you give your cat milk? Cats are lactose intolerant, which means their intestinal systems are not built to tolerate cow's milk. Lactose free cat milk is widely available and can be given as a treat however adults cats should only really drink water.
