Good news for Austria and for tourism from Ireland to Austria!
Austria has yet again been voted best Ski Destination from Ireland last night at the ITAA ( Irish Travel Agents Association of Ireland) Awards in The Mansion House, Dublin last night.
The Award was accepted by Austrian Trade Commissioner, Josef Treml, Advantage Austria!
These Awards are voted by the Travel Agents of Ireland, and are indicative of the booking patterns and satisfaction ratings of their clients, for holidays to Austria, booked with dynamic packing and also tour operator bookings.
Indications are that 2019/2020 will again be a strong year for ski tourism to Austria from Ireland, with everyone reporting excellent bookings, and Ski Club of Ireland set to deliver 25,000 lessons – to beginners, families, and schools!
So, the market for Ireland to Austria continues to grow. And with multiple daily flights to Munich as a gateway, as well as flights to Salzburg, Innsbruck and Vienna, the market will stay strong.
On Ireland’s side, it is predicted by German agency SCOPE that Ireland’s GDP for 2020 will grow by 3.2% this year – well above the forecast Eurozone growth of 1.4% and despite Brexit uncertainties!
